A lovely bistro with great food, tap list, craft cocktails, and lovely interior and staff. The chef menu always changes and the tap list is very local. Had the chicken sandwich, some appetizers, and dessert, all delicious!
Once again, my family is enjoying an absolutely delicious Easter Brunch at Foodsmith! And when it‘s not Easter, we always thoroughly enjoy our dinners here. The food,, staff, service, and ambience at this very comfortable bistro pub are always fabulous! 😁😋
FoodSmith is a great spot to grab a bite. I’m a foodie at heart and I love having this gem in my neighborhood. The staff is great, the atmosphere is on point, and the food is tasty. This trip I tried the parmesan garlic wings and they were perfectly crispy, and exploding with flavor. The pub pizzette was really good too. Have you ever heard of shaved apples on a pizza? Me either, but it’s a flavor combination that hits the spot. My favorite go to item is the crispy chicken sandwich. So far everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Stop in for a bite, you won’t regret it.
Keep this quaint neighborhood restaurant/bar alive! We need this in our hood! Delicious unpretentious food, amazing wait staff, yummy cocktails and for my Dad-Hamm's beer. The food was phenomenal! Loved the turkey sandwich, steak was so good, spaetzle was a treat. I need to go back for trivia night on Saturdays!
The food was insanely good! The crepes are incredible and the chicken schnitzel was unbelievably good. The service was amazing, they went above and beyond and made my dogs some off menu food. I'm going to make this a regular in our rotation.
This was the best sandwich I've had in my almost thirty years of life (the Turkey Havarti). It was a beautiful sandwich, and the service was immaculate. Anne was so sweet and I felt like that Spongebob episode where they try a Krabby Patty with Jellyfish Jelly. 10/10 would recommend. Have a sandwich here.
Just the best all around! I come here often with my husband or friends, because the food is so reliably delicious, The service is friendly and the atmosphere is just right. You can actually have a conversation without having to shout to be heard. I love the perfectly cooked salmon and the salmon burger, which is the best I’ve ever had. I think their Smashburger is the best in town. And don’t forget the apple strudel. I could go on. My husband and I both highly recommend this restaurant.🩷
Our experience was remarkable. Many variables are important when dining out, and FoodSmith Bistro checked all the boxes. The food was masterfully prepared and locally sourced. It was apparent chef/owner Robert Ulrich has honed his culinary skills and married it with his passion for authentic Austrian cuisine. When dining out, I’m tired of “predictable, same ol”. Our entire meal was not, in fact, just the opposite! Each aspect of our meal captivated my yearn to savor the special blends of seasonings. I anticipated the next course. Another vital dining aspect is the ambience of the place. While only our first visit, it was apparent guests were having great experiences and the tenor was upbeat. Equally important was the staff and chef had pride in their bistro. Interaction between them was one of mutual respect. Of special note was our server Anne. She went beyond that ensure our needs were met. Exceptional! Dining should be enjoyable, coupled with exceptional food. FoodSmith, your delivered…big time. We will return, soon.
Anne was amazing-so kind and welcoming to us! The service was so quick yet with a gourmet taste on all the food! The smash burger is the best burger I have ever had two times in a row! My wife loved the breaded chicken sandwich as well-to die for! You have to check this place out if you have not had a chance yet-great variety of beers as well! Finally the desert was so fabulous, full of flavor and freshness!
FoodSmith Bistro Pub is honestly one of those hidden gems that you almost don’t want to tell people about but they deserve the business. We came for lunch and both cleaned our plates, which almost never happens for me. I had the BLT with house fries, and Ryan got the Caprese with the house chips. The focaccia bread was incredible, the bacon was cooked perfectly, everything tasted fresh and came out hot. The homemade chips were amazing, and the fries were just as good. The restaurant has a clean, updated feel, the portions were generous, and Erika gave us such great, friendly service. Oh drinks were also really good and strong! We’re already planning to come back for the burger and crepes. Definitely worth checking out!
